Ben&Jerry's

Sadly, Ben & Jerry’s ice creams are not the only things that are at risk from melting. With this alarming premise, we organised a live painting performance with one of the most influential street artists in the Roman scene: Matteo Brogi.

We refused to be mere bystanders on 15 March, #GlobalClimateStrike Day.

Besides, social and environmental battles are part of who we are.

Inspired by the young activist Greta Thunberg, who was in Rome at the time, we decided to face the problem head on.

We therefore organised a very special live painting performance to show that even the smallest gesture can lead to major change.

We decided to use Airlite, 100% natural Italian paint that turns smog into clean air, for this piece. The gamer and streamer Pow3r helped us by getting his fan base to spread the hashtag on that day.

Judging by the reaction of the attendees, the message had struck home.

By the end of the day we had achieved at least one of our goals, and turned an anonymous grey wall into something useful for the community: a smog-eating bear.
